A sudden fire broke out in the under-construction part of Khaddar Bazar Market located at Gulistan Zero Point, an important area of the capital. A total of 9 units of the Fire Service and Civil Defense are working simultaneously to put out the fire.
The fire broke out at approximately 5:27 pm on Friday (December 26). After receiving the news of the incident, the matter was officially confirmed by the Fire Service's media cell.
Fire Service sources said that after receiving the news of the fire, firefighters from Siddiq Bazar Fire Station quickly reached the spot at 5:33 pm and started the process of bringing the fire under control. Later, additional units were added considering the situation.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. In addition, no reliable information has been received about any loss of life or damage in this fire so far. Fire Service members are continuing to work at the spot to monitor the situation.
