Protests and fires erupt
Osman Hadi was undergoing treatment in Singapore at 9:30 pm yesterday (December 18) by doctors at Singapore's General Hospital. Dr. Abdur Ahad, Hadi's first doctor, presented this sad story to the Bangladeshi media. As this news was broadcast by the media, Bangladeshi citizens protested and set fire to the houses of two ministers of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The attackers of Hadi secretly fled to India, and the protesters gave a stern warning to India, saying that the terrorists should be returned to Bangladesh.
Dr. Md Yunus will be by your side at Prothom Alo and The Daily Star.
The protesters are claiming that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and India are behind the attackers of Osman Hadi. For this reason, they are protesting and setting fire to various places in Bangladesh.
Last night, a group of protesters set fire to the houses of two ministers of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The office of the Awami League, which had ruled for 15 years, has also been demolished.
Protesters have also set fires in many places in Bangladesh. They have also vandalised the offices of the Prothom Alo newspaper. This has been confirmed by the authorities of Prothom Alo.
As soon as the news of Hadi's death was released yesterday, leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat took out a protest procession in Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat. It is understood that the protesters did not cause any vandalism or arson. However, they have made a clear demand to the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh that the conspirators of Osman Hadi's death should be brought to justice very soon.
