Rumeen Farhana did not get BRP's support
The 13th National Assembly election of Bangladesh is going to be held in February 2026, Rumi Farhana is not getting BNP's support in the election. BNP has already reached a seat agreement with Jamiat Ulema-e-Bangladesh. Due to which no BNP candidate will participate in the election in those areas. This was stated by Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir (December 23).

The seats that have been exchanged are Brahmanbaria-2, Sylhet-5, Nilphamari-1, Narayanganj-4.

Along with this, a big announcement has been made by BNP today, Tuesday (December 23, 2025). It has been informed by BNP that a new allowance will be added to the list of allowances for Bengalis if it comes to power. The eligible candidates for this allowance will be the imams and muezzins of Bangladesh. This announcement was made by Salahuddin Ahmed, member of the National Standing Committee of BNP.
