Why protest when people die in Gaza and remain silent when Hindus die in Bangladesh: Yogi

Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi has made these comments. He said, referring to West Bengal, that when people die in Gaza, there are protests in West Bengal. But why are there no protests when Hindus die in our neighboring country, Bangladesh? The Chief Minister said these things in the Assembly today (December 25, 2025) on Thursday. The Chief Minister has thrown this question at the opposition party.

Earlier, in Bangladesh, a Hindu named Dipu Chandra Das was publicly lynched on charges of insulting religion. Not only that, his body was also burned. However, later, the Bangladeshi law and order force investigated and found no charges of insulting religion.

Adityanath Yogi made these comments based on that incident. However, no political party protested even after the brutal killing of the Hindu youth. Due to the lack of protest, ordinary Indian citizens took out a protest procession in front of the Bangladesh High Commission office in India. They demanded that Dipu's murder be tried. However, Mamata's lathi-charge in West Bengal injured several common people during the procession of the common people. Yogi Adityanath has thrown this issue at the Trinamool Congress in the assembly.
