A day earlier, the Bangkok administration had announced that the two warring countries have agreed to hold talks again to re-enact the ceasefire.
A meeting is also scheduled to be held in Chanthaburi, Thailand on Wednesday (December 24). The two countries signed a ceasefire agreement after a 5-day bloody conflict in July. US President Donald Trump mediated. Fighting resumed on the border of the two countries earlier this month. There have also been casualties.
