Will Trump be able to bring a fair trial to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi? | Instqant

Jamal Khashoggi Death

Jamal Khashoggi died in 2018. But his wife has filed a lawsuit claiming that he was murdered in 2025. When Trump ended his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince on 19/11/2025, Kamal Khashoggi's wife claimed in front of Trump that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered and not only that, but also imposed the responsibility of judging this on President Trump.

And this allegation was made against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. She said that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered on the orders of the Crown Prince.

Trump's statement on this matter

In response to the allegations made by Jamal Khashoggi's wife, Hanan Al-Attar, Trump said in response to reporters' questions that the crown prince knew nothing about this. However, Trump assured that if it were a planned murder, he would definitely ensure a fair trial.

Hanan Al-Atar said in an interview with reporters shortly after this,

In an interview with reporters after that, Hanan Al-Atar said, "I want to tell the world that Jamal Khashoggi was not a patriotic journalist, he was a father and a good husband in the world." The woman said, "Now I am sure that Jamal's phones were also infected with spyware. That is why I have requested the return of his cellphone, laptop and other personal belongings to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As his wife, I have the right to know whether there was spyware on his devices." Hanan Al-Atar said, "I also demand my fair compensation as his (Jamal Khashoggi's) widow. The crown prince made it clear on the "60 Minutes" program in 2019 that as the de facto leader of Saudi Arabia, he "takes full responsibility for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi"...especially since it was carried out by people working in the Saudi government." Hanan Al-Atar added, "I hope that President Trump will listen to this widow's plea."
