Hero of Bangladesh
Those who are always ready to give their lives for the country are the real heroes of that country. Last Saturday (December 13), these 6 heroes carried out this attack on the Kadugli Logistics Base under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission (NNISFA) in the Abyei area of Sudan. At 3:40-3:50 Bangladesh time, a separatist armed group launched a drone attack on the army base at that base. In this, 6 people lost their lives on the spot. Arrived at Shahjalal International Airport at 11 am today, Saturday (December 20). Bird's body was received by the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shamim.
The deceased were identified as Corporal Md. Masud Rana: ASC (Natore), Private Shamim Reza: Bir (Rajbari), Private Md. Mominul Islam: Bir (Kurigram), Private Shanto Mandal: Bir (Kurigram), Mess Waiter Md. Jahangir Alam (Kishoreganj) and Laundry Employee Md. Sabuj Mia (Gaibandha).
The bodies of the heroes will be delivered to their respective addresses by helicopter after the state funeral ceremony (December 21).

Not only six soldiers were injured in the attack, they are also receiving treatment in critical condition. They are Lieutenant Colonel Khondaker Khalequzzaman, PSC, Ordnance (Kushtia), Sergeant Md. Mostakim Hossain: Bir (Dinajpur), Corporal Afroza Parvin Iti, Signals (Dhaka), Lance Corporal Mohibul Islam: EME (Barguna), Soldier Md. Mejbaul Kabir: Bir (Kurigram), Soldier Mosa Umme Hani Akhter: (Eng: Rangpur), Soldier Chumki Akhter, Ordnance (Manikganj) and Soldier Md. Manazir Ahsan: Bir (Noakhali). They are currently undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi.
The Bangladesh Army has strongly condemned the attack by the Sudanese terrorist group. The sacrifice of the slain peacekeepers will be a shining and glorious symbol of Bangladesh's commitment to establishing world peace. The army has expressed its deep condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs.
