This time, Ukraine expressed its feelings to the United States Instant World News

The Ukrainian president has finally expressed his feelings to Trump. Ukraine and the United States want to end their long-running war with Russia. Let's know the details.

What did the Ukrainian president say?

Ukraine has said it has reached a joint agreement with the United States to end its war with Russia. The United States presented a 28-point plan to Kiev last week to end the war. Trump then indicated that Ukraine had until November 27 to accept the proposal. US and Ukrainian officials met in Geneva over the weekend to discuss Trump's peace plan. In a post on social media,

US President Donald Trump said that the original plan had been further refined based on additional advice from both sides. Trump also said, "I have instructed my special envoy Steve Witkoff to meet with President Putin in Moscow. At the same time, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll will meet with representatives from Ukraine.

" Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and Russian representatives met in Abu Dhabi last Monday and Tuesday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed hope that Driscoll will arrive in Kiev this week. Meanwhile, the Kremlin has warned that Russia was not consulted on the changes being made to the draft peace plan and that it may not accept the amendments being made to the plan last week.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that Moscow had supported the original peace plan put forward by the United States. If fundamental changes were made now, the situation would be “fundamentally different.” Lavrov also said that the Kremlin had not received a copy of the new plan (the revised plan) as of Tuesday morning local time.

He also accused Europe of undermining US peace efforts. US officials have not commented publicly on these Russian concerns. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and Russian representatives met in Abu Dhabi last Monday and Tuesday. As of this writing, there has been no agreement on the issues that remain bitterly disputed between Russia and Ukraine.

Ensuring the security of Kiev and maintaining control over several conflict-ridden regions in eastern Ukraine are among the areas of disagreement. Zelensky said yesterday that he was ready to discuss “sensitive issues” with Trump. His administration aims to arrange a meeting with Trump before the end of this month. He added,

“I look forward to more active cooperation with the US side and President Trump. Much depends on the United States. Because Russia values the power of the United States the most.” However, the White House has not commented on the possibility of Trump’s talks with Ukraine.

Trump, however, wrote on social media that he is interested in meeting President Zelensky and Putin soon. But he will meet only when the agreement to end the war is finalized or is in the process of being finalized.
