England announce T20 World Cup squad, including Archer

England have named a preliminary 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup, leaving out the injured Jofra Archer. Harry Brook will lead the side for the first time in a world tournament this season.


Archer has been included in the squad despite being out of the field due to injury after the third Ashes Test. In addition, Josh Tang, who did not make his T20 international debut, has also been included in the team. He has been included in the team in recognition of his excellent performance in the Ashes.
